Aurelia Preskill lives in San Francisco and attends Ruth Asawa School of the Arts high school. Her work has been published in Synchronized Chaos, Ranger Magazine, Daily Haiku, and Table Feast. Though the world is immense, she finds herself gravitating toward the smaller aspects of life, such as pinpoints of starlight, the flutter of eyelashes, and dewdrops clinging to pine needles. However, she loves large questions and ideas, like What Is The Meaning of Life? and Why Is A Mouse When It Spins? You'll most likely find her either reading, writing poems, or having an existential crisis. 

Kavi Nielsen is a freshman at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts in San Francisco and also a forest gremlin who steals people's shoes in exchange for rocks. They have been published in Synchronized Chaos, 101 Words, and Umlaut magazine. In March 2026, they read “Challenges to Young Poets” by Laurence Ferlinghetti in Building 12, and then again at the Legion of Honor for Mayor Lurie. In their free time, they like to read, write moody poetry and fiction, and tend to their ever-growing collection of plants. You can probably find them hiding in a tree or staying at school until dark.
