Aurelia Preskill lives in San Francisco and attends Ruth Asawa School of the Arts high school. Her poetry has been published online in various literary magazines. Though the world is immense, she finds herself gravitating toward the smaller aspects of life, such as pinpoints of starlight, the flutter of eyelashes, and dewdrops clinging to pine needles. However, she loves large questions and ideas, like What Is The Meaning of Life? and Why Is A Mouse When It Spins? You'll most likely find her either reading, writing poems, or having some sort of existential crisis. 

Kavi Nielsen is a sophomore at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts in San Francisco and also a forest gremlin who steals people's shoes in exchange for rocks. They have been published in Synchronized Chaos, 101 Words, and Umlaut magazine. In March 2026, they read “Challenges to Young Poets” by Laurence Ferlinghetti in Building 12, and then again at the Legion of Honor for Mayor Lurie. In their free time, they like to read, write moody poetry and fiction, and tend to their ever-growing collection of plants. You can probably find them hiding in a tree or staying at school until dark.

Aubrey Malaya Lassen (He/They) is a San Francisco high schooler, class of 2029, at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts in Creative Writing. In his free time he likes to read books that make him cry but only internally, write angsty poetry that only half the time makes sense, and fiction that makes your mind wander. You will probably find him hunched over his journal on the bus writing or reading a book, or crocheting while listening to an audiobook because he can't make his mind up on anything. He's been published in Synchronized Chaos, Inside Voices, and Umlaut, and is a co-poetry editor on Umlaut literary magazine. 

Alexa Grospe is a fiction writer, poet, and playwright from San Francisco who currently attends Ruth Asawa School of the Arts. She has been published in Umlaut Magazine, Rivener Literary, and Synchronized Chaos. In her free time, she enjoys reading literary fiction, playing piano, watching films, and baking carrot cake. You will definitely find her wondering about life philosophically while attempting to complete her mushrooming list of tasks.
